With over two decades of IT, operations, and design experience, Jason has propelled this passion into productivity, establishing Pique Technologies as a multifaceted company with client care at the forefront.
Early in his career, Jason engineered cable TV and internet distribution systems for multi-tenant residential and commercial office buildings. As 56k modems and T1 lines became connectivity bottlenecks and before broadband internet was widely used, Jason helped pioneer a wireless ISP from the ground up. This wireless broadband network provided previously unavailable bandwidth to hotels, residential MDU’s, and commercial customers.
As Wi-Fi in hotels and hospitality venues became the standard instead of the exception and more time was spent designing, installing, and supporting reliable wireless and wired networks in hotels across the country, Jason found his niche in this dynamic market segment. After earning the esteemed BICSI RCDD credential, he began engaging in even more low voltage IT/AV design and consulting projects, identifying the need to help inform projects before the shovel hit the dirt, ensuring the necessary structured cabling systems, IT spaces, and pathways were calculated in the project plans and budgeted from the beginning.
Jason’s comprehensive approach, versatile experience, and client advocacy has earned him ongoing collaborations with owners, developers, construction managers, architects, designers, and engineers on some of the most renowned hotels, residential buildings, and state-of-the-art commercial office facilities across the country. The owners, developers and operators of these flagship projects put their confidence in Jason well beyond opening day, trusting their IT infrastructure is being proactively managed with an unwavering attention to detail.
